How can I change my password?

It's very simple, follow these 4 steps to change your password in a few minutes:

1. Log in to your Betfair account.
2. Click the “My Account” link at the top of the home page.
3. Select the “My Data” tab on the left side of the My Account pop-up window.
4. For security reasons, your password will not be displayed in this section. Click "Edit" in the "Names and Passwords" section and make the necessary changes.

Help choosing a secure password

Your password must include:

• a length of at least 8 characters;
• a combination of lowercase and uppercase letters, numbers, and special characters (use one of these symbols !?()*+,:;=@_./-[]{});

You can choose to choose your password from the first letter of each word that makes up a memorable phrase. For example: "I need a password that's easy to remember!", which could be "Nucqsf3r!"

You cannot include:

• Your name, username or part of either in your password;
• Your date of birth
• If you use a credit card under the "Verified by Visa" or "MasterCard SecureCode" scheme, make sure your Betfair password is different from the password used to verify your credit card transactions.

You should avoid:

• Passwords based on personal information. For example, names of family members, friends, pets, or memorable dates;
• Words that can be found in the dictionary and/or simple variants. For example: writing a word backward;
• A sequence of, and/or repeated characters. For example: "12345678" or "22222222", or
  characters in order on the keyboard. For example: "qwertyui";
• The same password on multiple websites.

Please remember to keep your password secret. Betfair will never ask you for it.
